We are thrilled to announce a virtual wine tasting with WLC Member Jennifer Frisk. 

Jennifer will lead you through a tasting* of 2 wines from her favorite region (when it comes to wine) - France.  Politics aside, we will taste a white and a red, both grape varietals that you are familiar with, but may not realize based on their annoyingly French names.  We will talk about what to look for when you are tasting or buying a wine, how to determine the wine characteristics you actually like, and Jennifer’s favorite skill, how to navigate a wine list like a boss (hand it over, guys). 

Jennifer’s love of wine started early on, and was fueled by “research” for a family vineyard.  And, in an industry where male dominated closing dinners are the norm, she took it upon herself to attach some actual knowledge to the consumption.  Jen has taken classes at the Napa Valley Wine Academy, and is currently making her way through the UCLA Wine Education & Management Program.  She loves to try new wines, is a sucker for a 2015 Bordeaux, and thinks wine is one of the only things you should be buying at Costco (other than toilet paper and paper towels).
